Tooling
Balls are used in making and checking machining setups and
assemblies such as jigs and fixtures, where holes or surfaces
must be accurately located at compound angles, in two or more
planes.
They consist of a precision ball with a plain or shouldered shank made from type 440C stainless steel hardened to 55-58 Rockwell 'C'. Sizes range from 1/8" to 1" diameter. |
