General Information:
Cobalt Alloy Balls are used in bearings and valves where high retained hardness, abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures is important. Other cobalt base alloys are available to special order.
Basic Composition:
Nickel 2.5% Max.
Chromium 31/34%
Tungsten 16/19%
Iron 3% Max.
Carbon 2.2/2.8%
Silicon, Manganese, and others total 5.5% approx.
